Detailed itinerary

Day 1 Full Day: Cusco – Qoricancha – Sacsayhuaman – Qenqo – Puka Pukara – Pisac – Tambomachay – Cusco

Your tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. The first stop is Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), the most important religious site of the Inca Empire, where you will learn about advanced Inca stonework and its transformation during the colonial period. Then continue to Sacsayhuaman, an impressive ceremonial fortress with massive stone walls and panoramic views of Cusco. Next, visit Qenqo, an ancient ceremonial site with underground passages, followed by Puka Pukara, a military control point. After exploring the archaeological sites near Cusco, continue toward the Sacred Valley to visit the town of Pisac. Here you will explore the famous artisan market, known for handmade textiles, ceramics, and jewelry. Then ascend to the Pisac archaeological complex, where you will admire agricultural terraces, temples, and stunning views over the valley. You will have free time for lunch in the town of Pisac (optional). Finally, return to Cusco, stopping at Tambomachay, known as the Temple of Water, before ending the tour in the city.
