Day 1 Full Day: Cusco – Corao – Patabamba – Pukamarca Pass – Huchuy Qosqo – Lamay – Cusco

Your Huchuy Qosqo Trek begins early in the morning with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. You will drive for approximately 30 minutes to Corao, then continue toward the high Andes until reaching the small village of Qoricocha (4,050 m), where the trek begins. The trail takes you through Andean landscapes to the village of Sihua, followed by a gradual ascent to Pukamarca Pass (4,150 m), the highest point of the hike. From here, you will enjoy spectacular views of the Sacred Valley and surrounding mountains. After descending for about 30 minutes, you will reach the Pumamarka community, where you will enjoy lunch. After lunch, continue hiking through the Puma Punku canyon along an original Inca trail restored as part of the Qhapaq Γ‘an network. This scenic route leads you to Huchuy Qosqo (3,600 m), where your guide will provide a complete tour of the archaeological site, including temples, terraces, storehouses, and water reservoirs. After the guided tour, descend for approximately 2 hours to the village of Lamay (2,800 m), where private transportation will take you back to Cusco, arriving in the afternoon.
