Detailed itinerary

Day 1 Day 1: Cusco – Pukutuni – Pucaccocha

Early pickup from Cusco and drive to the trailhead at Pukutuni. Begin your trek through valleys and glacier landscapes. Hike via VicuΓ±a Pass (4,850 m) and continue to your campsite at Pucaccocha.

Day 2 Day 2: Condor Pass – Alpaca Pass – Sorayni Lake

Climb to Condor Pass (4,900 m) with incredible views of Ausangate Mountain. Continue through lagoons and high-altitude terrain, crossing Alpaca Pass before reaching your campsite.

Day 3 Day 3: Rainbow Mountain – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

Early hike to Rainbow Mountain (5,030 m) to enjoy the colors without crowds. After the visit, descend to the trail end and transfer to Ollantaytambo. Take the train to Aguas Calientes and overnight in a hotel.

Day 4 Day 4: Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco

Early morning bus to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour exploring temples, terraces and viewpoints. Free time for photos or optional Huayna Picchu hike. Return by train and transfer to Cusco.
