Day 1 Half Day: Cusco – Cathedral – Qoricancha – Sacsayhuaman – Qenqo – Puka Pukara – Tambomachay

Your Cusco City Tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. You can choose between a morning schedule (8:30 AM – 2:00 PM) or an afternoon schedule (1:00 PM – 6:30 PM). The tour starts with a visit to Cusco Cathedral, located in the Plaza de Armas, where you will admire colonial art and historical architecture. Next, visit Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), one of the most important religious sites of the Inca Empire, known for its impressive stonework and spiritual significance. After exploring the city center, travel to the upper part of Cusco to visit Sacsayhuaman, famous for its massive megalithic stone walls built with incredible precision. Continue to Qenqo, an archaeological site with ceremonial structures and underground chambers. Then visit Puka Pukara, a small fortress that served as a military control point, and finally Tambomachay, known as the Temple of Water. The tour ends near the Plaza de Armas in Cusco.
