The first stop is Chinchero, a picturesque Andean village where you will visit agricultural terraces, colonial temples built on Inca foundations, and enjoy a demonstration of traditional textile weaving. Then continue to Moray, an impressive archaeological site with circular terraces used by the Incas as an agricultural laboratory. Next, visit the famous Maras Salt Mines, consisting of more than 3,000 salt pools used since pre-Inca times. Afterward, enjoy a buffet lunch in the Sacred Valley (optional upgrade to Tunupa restaurant available). In the afternoon, visit Ollantaytambo, an important military, agricultural, and religious center, considered the last living Inca town. Finally, explore the Pisac archaeological complex, located on a mountain with spectacular views over the valley. After the visit, return to Cusco, arriving around 7:00 PM.
