Detailed itinerary

Day 1 Day 1: Cusco – Abra Malaga – Biking – Santa Maria – Rafting

Your adventure begins early with pickup from your hotel in Cusco around 6:00 AM. You will travel through the Sacred Valley, passing Ollantaytambo and continuing to Abra Malaga Pass (4,350 m), the highest point of the tour. After receiving your biking gear and safety briefing, begin a thrilling 65 km downhill ride through the Andes toward the jungle. Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of Veronica Mountain and stop at the Inca site of Huamanmarca. After lunch, continue to Santa Maria where you will experience an exciting river rafting adventure lasting approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Overnight in a hotel in Santa Maria with dinner included.

Day 2 Day 2: Santa Maria – Quellomayo – Hot Springs – Santa Teresa

After breakfast, begin your hike along an original Inca trail that once connected Machu Picchu with Vilcabamba. This scenic route takes you through plantations of bananas, coca, coffee, and tropical vegetation. After approximately 3 hours, reach the village of Quellomayo for lunch. Continue hiking along the Vilcanota River until reaching the Colcamayo hot springs, where you will relax and enjoy the natural thermal baths. Afterward, continue to Santa Teresa for dinner and overnight in a comfortable hostel.

Day 3 Day 3: Santa Teresa – Zipline – Hidroelectrica – Aguas Calientes

After breakfast, enjoy an adrenaline-filled zipline experience with multiple cables and a suspension bridge. After the activity, travel by vehicle to Hidroelectrica for lunch. In the afternoon, begin a scenic 3-hour hike along the train tracks to Aguas Calientes, surrounded by lush vegetation and mountain views. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4 Day 4: Machu Picchu Guided Tour – Return to Cusco

Wake up early to visit Machu Picchu. You can either hike for approximately 1.5 hours or take a bus to the entrance. Upon arrival, enjoy a 2.5-hour guided tour exploring temples, terraces, and ceremonial areas. After the tour, you will have free time to explore or hike Huayna Picchu if booked in advance. Later, return to Aguas Calientes and choose between returning to Cusco by train or by car via Hidroelectrica. Arrival in Cusco in the evening.
