Your adventure begins early with pickup from your hotel in Cusco around 6:00 AM. You will travel through the Sacred Valley, passing Ollantaytambo and continuing to Abra Malaga Pass (4,350 m), the highest point of the tour. After receiving your biking gear and safety briefing, begin a thrilling 65 km downhill ride through the Andes toward the jungle. Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of Veronica Mountain and stop at the Inca site of Huamanmarca. After lunch, continue to Santa Maria where you will experience an exciting river rafting adventure lasting approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Overnight in a hotel in Santa Maria with dinner included.
After breakfast, begin your hike along an original Inca trail that once connected Machu Picchu with Vilcabamba. This scenic route takes you through plantations of bananas, coca, coffee, and tropical vegetation. After approximately 3 hours, reach the village of Quellomayo for lunch.
