Your tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. From there, travel through scenic Andean landscapes toward Moray, located approximately 1.5 hours from Cusco. At Moray, you will explore impressive circular and semi-circular terraces built by the Incas as an agricultural laboratory to experiment with crops in different microclimates. After visiting Moray, continue your journey for about 8 km to reach the Maras Salt Mines. This unique site features more than 3,000 salt pools carved into the mountainside and fed by a natural underground spring. You will learn about traditional salt extraction methods still used today by local families. After exploring the salt mines, return to Cusco, arriving approximately between 2:30 and 3:00 PM.
